No. Esso/SET/009/57 June 17, 2014 Subject: Units Slowdown and Shutdown for scheduled maintenance to improve refinery efficiency To: President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand Dear Sir, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited would like to notify the Stock Exchange of Thailand that the Company has started to slowdown the production of Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit, Continuous Catalytic Reformer, shut down Selective Cat Naphtha Hydrofiner, Naphtha Hydrofiner, and Aromatic Plant for scheduled maintenance to improve refinery efficiency and reliability for the period of 21 days starting from June 14, 2014. As a result, refinery throughput will be reduced by approximately 10,000 BBL/day and aromatic plant capacity utilization will be reduced by approximately 24,000 ton in the 2nd quarter during units shutdown period. As to accommodate this scheduled maintenance, the Company has built up and secured inventory and product for continuous supply during period.
